The Thrie Beam Guardrail features a triple wave shape, which has an added corrugation compared to the traditional W-beam. Compared to two-wave shape products, this design has a stronger construction and higher impact endurance. As such, it is useful in high volume traffic areas and high speed roads and also in regions with hilly terrain.

The Thrie -Beam type safety barrier consists of a steel post and a 3mm thick ‘Thrie’ Beam rail element. The steel post and the spacer are 75mm x 150mm and 5mm thick segments. Each post is spaced 2m apart, while the rail sits at 85cm off the ground. The design also meets MORTH and IRC specifications.
